...well, crewmen in black locomotives anyway!

The Kings Port Turn waits by the yard office for the Southbound through freight to go by before entering the main. I've created meets like this by spotting the through freight on a hidden siding until its time for it to emerge. After it appears it makes a circuit on my folded dogbone and then returns to its hidden siding for later.

The Southbound roars by. Soon it will be "parked" and the local can set to work.

Farther up the line the local drops a couple of hoppers off at Marion Aggregates.

The kids at the Boy Scout camp nearby pitch tents at this spot just to catch this sort of action.
