Manual reset for loksound decoders

One of my loksound units is totally screwed up and won't reset electronically.
Is there a way to reset it to the defaults manually. I can't even address the decoder.

allso Charlie im not sure on this part but I thought I read some where about the sound only able to come from one engine in a mu at a time. maybe its some thing to do with programing but not sure. Im still a rookie just trying to help.
