MAc and the case of the Elder Fonts...

I have several sets of the old Star Trek series and Movie fonts from back in Microsoft 98. Any way I can translate them to work in my MAC, System 10.6?

A font is a terrible thing to waste...
...especially for one wanting to customize Trek models!!!!

Have you tried opening/installing these with Font Book? I thought OS X was capable of using older Mac fonts (at least I never had a problem making the switch).

If that don't work you might look into a font conversion utility.

I believe FontForge (font creation program) can open/save/generate different formats, and it's free. Best/easiest (so far) installation instructions for the Mac here.
