Looking for an issue of MR

Does anyone have the Oct 83 issue of Model Railroader, and if so, would you be willing to scan an article from it for me?

Thanks Kevin, It's the article "modeling SP's articulated container train." I remember wanting to build this as a kid but never tried it. I was thinking I might try it now:mrgreen:

Unless you're looking for a challenge, or to try out you're scratch building skills, Athearn does sell the five car articulated Maxi I,II's in SP colors.
Athearn - HO RTR Maxi I Well Car/Early, TT/SP #73147 (5)

These are R-T-R, but you may still find them in kit form at your LHS, or at a show.

Have you contacted the magazine editors? They have file copies and will often make a copy of an article for a small fee.

Just a thought. I know how frustrating it can be to know that an article exists, and even to know where it is, but not to be able to lay hands on it.

I think .pdf, I am just guessing, but I think that would be easier to work with, IE cut and paste anything I might have too:mrgreen:

there'll be 2 e-mails due to file size.

Also, they are jpg's as pdf's were too big to e-mail.
