Good Day Gaugers! :wave:
I'm looking for a copy of the article or someone selling their issue from
August 2004 of RAILROAD MODEL CRAFTSMAN.
I lucked out and got a reasonable price on one of those Backmann HO Towers...
Welllll... The article in question tells how someone made it fit "N."
Being as I'm trying to make an Urban switching layout this would be on the right track (pun slightly meant :p ).

P.S.- Not sure about anyone else, but I think the folks on here are downright AWESOME!! In both their model skills, and humanity. :thumb: :thumb:

Gee... Here I was just gonna buy a couple DPM Hilltowne Hotels and gut the window areas.
Actually, I thought it would be an oppertunity to try some cast making. Figured I'd take the extra Hilltowne I got and make copies of the window areas. Then cut out the needed space on the Bachmann Kit, slap the windows in...
Fit up the walls to the space I need...
Putty up and sand nice, make it a concrete color and weather a touch...
Ta-da! Skyscaper a-la "N."
