Anyone else get the unsecure login message via the "http://" login as well as an "invalid security certificate" error when trying to use "https://".?

Did you try different browsers?
What OS are you using?

Anyway no login issue to me too...

OK. I ran a quick google search:

https://www.google.de/search?q=conn...firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=X3rJWPSbF4ne8gfV-LiwCQ

and found out that other users found out the issue might have been caused by a Kaspersky update:

http://blog.rb-media-group.de/tipps-und-tricks/kis-2015-fehlercode-sec_error_unknown_issuer-geloest/

English version:

http://translate.google.com/transla...e-sec_error_unknown_issuer-geloest/&sandbox=1

Just check the links and see if they are helpful, please. Before you tinker with the settings I strongly recommend to create a restore point first (just to be safe ;) ).

If only it was that easy for me. I do not use Kapersky and there were no recent updates to my avast antivirus. There was however a recent update to firefox but I was getting the same error when trying to use https prior to the update.

The security certificate error is an byproduct of the hack. Can you continue to the forum, or is your anti-virus blocking, or Firefox blocking you? I know some servers blacklisted us, but this was for email acknowledgement when someone joined. That is being worked on, and I have reported this issue to the I.T.

I have not been able to recreate this problem, Could you post the general area you live in? I think this is an area specific problem, as this has been reported to me by someone on a related forum. Keep on reporting. Thanks, for doing this guys. :)

@nero_on_fire, we will correspond by P.M. only, O.K.? :)

Z - It looks like only members can log-in to access the site after typing in www.zealot.com. You used to be able to casually browse the site without logging in. The reason why I'm saying anything is that sometimes in instructing some students in how to do some of the Karakuri projects I direct them to this site for basic tips in addition to youtube or other video sites. Also, it looks like the number of people accessing this site has dropped to probably due to said issue.

Most sites now do not let you visit and see the pictures without logging in unless the pictures are hosted somewhere else. We have been steadily cleaning house of defunct members so that has affected the "totals". I have notified the people responsible about what's going on. That's all I can do. I never type the https: stuff anyways, and ironically, as I use Google as my home page, occasionally the page reads "Site Not Found". I then type "www.google.com", and it pops up, and I make it my home page again.

I use Chrome, it is fast, but the add ons that Firefox has, like the ease of downloading YouTube videos, stripping the video file in the process, and a slew of others make it my preferred Browser. Also, Google always comes up with me already logged in, and I have to manually log out. Google is like Micro$oft, when it comes to following your every move.

I always tell people, you can join this forum and never post a build, just post words of admiration for a project, and encouragement. If that's the participation you can do, then that's fine by me. :)
