Gotta love Python..

My first crack at a sphere. Actually wasn't all that bad. Found the trick is to pre-form the sections. I use a marble on a foam place mat. The blue mat in the picture is a piece of it. The foam is about 1/16 inch thick and has a smooth glossy finish. I got them at Wal-Mart but I'll bet they can be found just about anyplace that has kitchen stuff. The cross is on a toothpick and can actually be pulled, then count to three..

Yea, go for it. I finished in 1 night. The cool thing is the horizontal band hides the seam so you can be a little lax on the fit.
