Just talked to regional HR about my ADA accommodation request, and I will most likely be placed on "Leave of Absence" until my disability kicks in. at least I have private disability insurance that kicks in after 2 weeks, and pays until SSDI kicks in. The company I work for has decided that my 20# lifting and 20 degree back flexion are restrictions that they can't accommodate. So now I burn PTO days waiting.
