I found this on Ebay last night. it is a custom built kitbashed 2-6-6-2 in HOn30 just somthing odd but cool looking what sould i do with this? I will post better pics as soon as i get it in the mail.

Looks like a project based roughly on the Hammond Lumber Co./Arcata & Mad River No. 12, a 2-6-6-2 articulated built by Baldwin in 1929. 30" gauge isn't exactly prototype, but it does look like an exceedingly neato beastie that I'd be proud to own--looks like all it needs is a paint job!

Such creatures were used late in the era of steam logging--I think that one ran until 1959 on the A&MR.

The guy said it runs good it has a tender he was working on but not finished. best thing is he had a buy it now for $50 so i did. I just droped the MO in the mail tonight so i hope to have it by the 15th if the mail aint too slow.

well took her to the shop today to get everything checked out she runs pretty good needs cleaning and lubeing but i think i have a winner here. does anyone know where i can find a plastic or brass C-16 cab to use on here?

Suggest you check with Precision Scale.I think they have a website but I don't have a clue as to the url.
