Here is an Intermountain Drop Bottom Gondola I put together today and really liked the way it turned out.
I added a little weatering chalk and will do more later.

Very nice... now I know it's at least possible to build these! I've heard the assembly process is, let's say "nontrivial".

Did you weather the wood interior before putting it into the gondola or afterwards?

George , I did all the weatering after and is all chalks.
