Help with accuracy

Hi everybody! I am currently designing a hockey papercraft with a friend and I've reached a bit of a wall so I figured I'd post here for some advice.

As you can see below, we have the model ripped and in the process of texturing. However, the model isn't the best (but I can't rip from the newer games because they aren't on PC) and the hands don't look all that great. The fingers look like claws lol. They are permanently bent 90 degrees.

I wanted to know what you guys think I should do to help make them a bit more accurate to actual hockey gloves.

The hockey gloves I used had kind of claw like, if I remember this right. They seemed to have a curve sewn into them, from my recollection. :)
