Found this site through a friend who recommended I duck in and have a look around. I've been interested in modelling for a while now, dabbled a little here and there however I've reached and age now where I can pretty much dedicate some serious crafting time.

Anyways, learnt a lot already just by perusing some posts and hope to learn more.

Cheers

Hello and welcome to the forum.
If I may ask, what genre are you interested in?
If you have anything that you have already built, by all means please post photos of it.

When you start a new project, it is always a good idea to start a build thread.
Build threads are a GREAT way to show off your skills and techniques. Not only that, but it is a GREAT way to highlight any problem areas that you are having with a particular model when you need help.

Once again, welcome aboard, and I hope you enjoy yourself here.

I look forward to seeing your work.

I am interested in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Genre. I've always been passionate about TV shows/Movies of this theme and often desired having something tangible from a particular show. My brother gave me last year for Xmas a Stormtrooper helmet and that started me looking around at means to take this further. So it has been a number of months now but finally at a point to investigate and try my own luck.

I have done basic modelling/painting through kits purchased but I wish to go from the very beginnings now. Just need to find a good tutorial from start to finish.

Anyways thanks for the greetings.

Welcome aboard, MATE! Good day! sign1

Hope to one day get to know you beautiful country...

I live in what they call the Sunshine state of Australia, Queensland, in a small country town due west of the state capital however for the last few days the temperature has dropped to about 0 degrees Celcius, yesterday it was -2.. Not happy :)

Hope you do get that chance.
