Hello XGE,

Welcome to Zealot. As mentioned, we have many members from all over the world. I hope that you enjoy yourself here.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice, please feel free to ask and we will do what we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).
If you have any photos of anything that you have already made, please post them. We love seeing photos.
When you build a new model, I would like to encourage you to post a build thread. Reason why, is because, build threads are a great way to show off your skills as well as highlight areas that you are having problems with and need help or to show your solution for that problem area.
Once again, welcome aboard. I hope that you enjoy yourself here. I look forward to seeing your work.

Hi Xavier,
Love your R2 unit. The early trilogy films will always hold a special place for me. Probably my age has a lot to do with it when the first films came out!
Have you done any other early Star Wars models? I'd love to see them.

I'm new here too.
Look forward to seeing your other work.

Thank you for th R2 pic! I have embedded it into the post so that it is easier to see. That looks awesome and the fact that you made it without PC aid is absolutely fantastic. It's vintage (like me ;) )! :)

The hand-drawn lines add a lot of charme to this little fellow. It's even more impressive to see that you managed to get the basic shapes right. Awesome! :)

BTW, very wise to put a restraining bolt on it; it worked - the model did not get lost! ;) :D

1980! Wow.. shortly after the first Star Wars hit the big screen! And it has stood up well with the passage of time! Great Job!
