I am starting in paper models and I am amazed at the variety and type of models available, from 'simple' easy to 'headache' hard. I have discovered these threads only since last year and I am still quite dumbfounded at what is being done just with paper, scissors and glue! jawdrop
I started a few easy models and found it addictive. My general experience is in plastic models (mostly spaceships) and construction in foam card of fantasy table games buildings (Warhammer-type).
I am starting to appreciate the amount of work put behind the creation of these models I have seen on the web and in this forum. It is a job of love and inspiration and I give kudos to all those who are doing this!
