If memory serves me correctly (which it often doesn't)...
Incandescent is usually around 2800 degrees K
Halogen is between 3000-3300 degrees K
and unfiltered sunlight (cloudless day) is 5500 degrees K
Somewhere, I have a book I got at Mole Richardson lighting when I was working at a studio out in Hollywood. It lists not only the temperatures of all kinds of lighting but also the temps of various sources using all different kinds of gels. I'll have to see if I can find it...
