It dawned on me today that I haven't seen a gp40x in quite a few years. Are the U.P. and BNSF still operating them, or have they gone to the scrap yard?

BNSF's are still running, as for UP I think that they have gotten rid of them. I think that some of UP's have made it to the used loco market. I don't know if NS are still running theirs?

There are a few operating in/around, Roseville Ca., but for the most part the older Geeps are GP38's.
