ENR Geeps in Victoria

Yesterday, the E&N Railway GP38's pick up the empty flat car that the transformer came down from Nanaimo on. They left the rest of their train in Duncan and came down light. This shot shows them ready to leave the Langford siding in Victoria. They were just a wee bit overpowered too, 4000 hp for an empty flat car.

I was going to say that transformer must have been a rreeeeally heavy one!

They came down light, leaving the rest of their train in Duncan so they could couple onto the flat car and go in about 10 minutes without having to waste time running around their train. They had to be back at Wellcox in Nanaimo before the Budd Cars left Nanaimo headed south around 3:30.
