Now that I'm more aware of all this, I noticed a few references to "new-builds" in a March issue of "Heritage Railway" that I was re-reading this morning. Exciting stuff!
They're planning a new-build of a GWR Grange at the Llangollen Railway in Wales, for example. I visted the LR in 1996 -- it's an awesome mix of beautiful scenery, small villages and fantastic locos.
