Aft (engine) section, belly, and wings

Here is an update on my progress. As you can see, I am still adding even more detail to the model by enhancing the texture and either raising, recessing (or both), and isolating some feature. Here are the photos below:

Here I raised most of the panels and isolated some of the texture by cutting out the inner areas that are open.

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.
The back panel really was not that hard, it just took a little time and a steady hand.

I am working on the canopy now.
I will post photos once I have finished everything.

Finally finished!!!

I have finally finished my detailed TF. As you can see, I did make the canopy hinged, and yes, I know that it is not canon. That is the joy of fan based builds, you can do what ever you want.
Here are the photos for your viewing pleasure.

Here I attached the landing gear.

This is the back part of the canopy.

This is the inside of the canopy with a "CLOCK" that I detailed out.

As you can see, I recessed the dial and raised the buttons.

The fighter looks great...
maybe one day i should try one also ..:)

2 thumbs up!!

Thank you for the compliments.
If your X-Wind and M-Falcon are an indication of what to expect, then I would look forward to seeing you build the Thunder Fighter (in any variant).
I know for certain that you would do this model justice.

You really brought this model to life. The detailing you did really puts this model on another level. I think it wold be great as a movie miniature! :)

To continue this thread, I have started on the BSG Thunder Fighter.
This fighter will have the same detail as the first TF that I built earlier.
So I will only highlight just the detailed parts that I add to the model.
