Looking Good! Love to see how your model turns out. Will be watching closely. Have a question, will these help you with your model?
The only reason I have these are because I came across a RC Plane based on the SA-43 Hammerhead that a guy made. Thought it looked soo cool, that I am trying to design a paper model of it. It was around the same time you started this thread. Below is a picture of the plane, and below that are a few parts I designed so far.
Your model is looking good! It looks like, with some teaks and modifications, it would make a neat RC model.
With this model, I was lucky in that @Rhaven Blaack requested a card model model of it, so I decided to give it a shot. He was kind enough to provide me some references so i could start working on it. @Revell-Fan was nice enough to point out where I could find some nice screenshots of the Hammerhead that were taken from the actual show. I'm working on making my model as screen accurate as possible using some nice orthographic screenshots that were taken of the actual 3D model used in the show.
@zathros was also kind enough to provide me a 3D file of someone's version of the Hammerhead, but there are some big differences between it and the actual screen model. Look at the previous posts in this thread for all that information.
It's great that you've decided to tackle this project too. You can never really have too many card or paper models out there!
Good luck with this, I'd be interested in trying my hand at building this. Not as a Beta tester, but...
