Deck by Deck build of the Titanic

I'd love to see a paper model deck-by-deck build of the Titanic. Maybe, at best, in 1/100 scale. Even 1/144 scale would be doable -- the people would be small though. Plastic kits exist, so why not a paper model kit. And detailed deck plans exist.

It would have to be half models to really appreciate the work and insides. Build "Lilla Weneda", if you want an awesome ship model with the cabin interior, it's also FREE, and is awesome. I upscaled that model, mine is 32 inches long, and has sitting on top of my sound system rack for 10 years. ;)

You can download it, and a couple of other excellent model for FREE here.

If I come across this one, I'll grab it along with his other models. Hopefully, he'll allow free downloads of his models again. But for now, I'm going to focus on getting ready to build the IJN Akagi. First up is the 1:350 scale, then onto 1:144 scale, then onto 1:100 scale. Any bigger then I will run out of room in my living room and will be in the realm of real scale modeling.

Geez, I should have checked if they were working. After being available for a decade, I assumed they stilll were. Lilla Weneda can still be found if you know where to look.

This site has it still. This model was offered for free for a decade or so. It is now being sold by other sites which is just wrong. Here is a link to "Lilla Weneda". Download it now, models disappear, if you even think you might build it, download it. It is a far more beautiful display model than almost any ship model (motor driven), I have ever built. IMHO :)

Thank you, Zathros! Thanks for sharing, it's greatly appreciated. I've got it downloaded. I'm sure I'll build it at some point.
