Can anyone tell me anything re Atlas Davenport Switchers (I have 2 which don't run particularly well). Am looking for both model and prototype information.

Well Well....thats it exactly....and the description is down to a tee (including the performance!) Now that I know they are a North American loco, any other reference points / info re prototypes? I note UP decals on one of the pics.....was planning to use them as switcing locos in a mill area but their performance precludes this. Also it would be damn hard to put a decoder in them!!!

Did you try doing a web search for things like Davenport, diesel, whatever?
BTW - I think spookshow's web site isn't being updated, and he's out of the hobby. As far as I know he doesn't frequent the Gauge. Still a useful site at times, though.
