If you want to build it, by all means, do so. It is not a difficult as it looks. It is a GREAT BUILD (it is FUN and ENJOYABLE). Just take it slow and easy all the way straight through it.
I would strongly recommend going through the UHU02 Colonial Viper appreciation thread for anyone wanting to build this model. It feature a number of different members (including myself) building this model and how they went about it.

Ok..........that makes a while......Cold weather knock at the door :(....home projects arent completed.........Now I have time to complet this built.

The rear and the engines will be tricky to do. They will glow and I dont want to view the wiring.

I truly don't want to step on anyone's toes, but you have made the cleanest, most squared, plumb, and aligned parts with a fit and finish of all of these I have seen, and I mean, ALL OF THEM. I hope you take your time and keep the standard high on this upcoming Model of Merit. :)

I see a few familiar techniques and some modifications to the parts. On resin illuminati, there is a tutorial on the wiring and lights process of the Viper. Your build is coming along great. Do you plan on making a static display or a diorama? Thanks for sharing and waiting to see more of your stuff.
 
I do have one complaint, your pictures are waay tooo smaaalll!!!
