On Monday, March 25, 2002, the Danbury Railway Museum took delivery of an EMD SW-8, donated by the Pfizer Corporation. The unit is in excellent working condition and has already been put into service.
With the arrival of the SW-8, the DRM can temporarily shut down their hard-working Alco RS-1 to carry out some much need maintainence.
