Das fand ich so toll das ich es auch einmal versuchen mußte. Gesagt getan.
Auf Balsahotz Umrisse gezeichnet und 5 Streifen von diesem übereinandergeklebt. Mit Holzleim.
I thought that was so great that I had to try it once . Said and done.
Drawn on Balsahotz contours and superimposed glued strips 5 of this . With wood glue

Als es trocken war sah es so aus./ When it was dry , it looked like.

Im Anschluß habe ich mit einer Feile die Umrisse herausgearbeitet.
After I worked out with a file the outline

Jetzt die Leitwerke/ Now the tail

und den hinteren Mittelsteg/ and the rear crossbar

Für die Triebwerke eigneten sich zwei Plastekappen hervorragend.
For the engines , two plastic caps suitable outstanding.

That's SOOO COOOL!!!

It reminds me of another artist who calls himself "Matchstick"; he builds models using - matchsticks. Ha has made a complete TOS Galactica and a Millennium Falcon.

Jetzt kommt Farbe mit ins Spiel, lackiert habe ich aus der Spraydose. Das erschien mir für dieses Spaßprojekt angemessen.

Schokoladenbraun und Elfenbein stellen die Grundlage auf dem Schwarz da.
Now comes into play with color , I painted from the spray . That seemed appropriate for this fun project .
Chocolate brown and ivory are the basis because on the black .

Den Abrieb beim Athmosphäreneintritt stelle ich mit schwarzen Reißlack da.
The abrasion during Athmosphäreneintritt I ask because with black crackle finish

Und hier die Umrisse wie mein Modell ausschaut.

Die Sitze wie bei unseren Helikoptern schmutzig und durchgeschwitzt.
