I've found that Clever Santoro Lopes models do lack nice instructions. I have found the cut & fiddle tactic works 
(also helps to have a reference pic)

If we could find some bold fellow paper warriors who would tackle one model at a time and document their experiences during the build(s) we might be able to fill that gap.
