Christmas to me is a double edged sword. We are given the gift of reconciliation with God through the incarnation of the spoken word in the Christ is beautiful, from a loving God, and a ever serving Son, our Lord Christ, but then knowing what this child without fault will have to pay, willingly, knowingly, saddens me, but "Worthy is the Lamb, that was slain".

I hope you don't think I am proselytizer, but this is Christmas, and that's what it's about for me, no matter how some try to secularize it. May we venerate Mary, the Ark of God's covenant with man, who carried and bore Christ into the world.
