Chicago N.R.H.S. steam excursion

On September 22-23 the Chicago chapter of the N.R.H.S. is putting on a steam excursion trip behind Soo Line #1003.
I'm hoping some of you will be able to attend this event.

I will be there on crew with the locomotive so should not be too hard to find. It would be nice to meet some of the people on T.G.

#1003 appx. 4 miles north of Fox Lake Ill., enroute to Milton Wi.,speed appx 35mph on long up-grade pulling 13 cars.

This is Milwaukee Rd. Sky top "Ceder Rapids", always an honor to pull, all but two of the 13 cars were Milw. Rd., made up a darn nice looking train!

#1003 is now wintering in the Antique Auto Museum in Hartford Wi. untill next spring, she is open to public viewing.
