Buck Rogers Poster Gun - Building Thread

.....and here comes the rest.

Summary: really a fine model with a good description.
Not too much small parts (beside 12 and 12a).

I really like it.

Now I am gonna paint the gun (beside the grip) and cut the necessery parts (safety sign as example).
THX again for this fine model to Revell-Fan.

EXCELLENT WORK! As for the "Safety" sign, I have included a decal in the white version of the kit. Just cut it out and glue it in place. :)

last update for the blaster - now painted - this is also the reason for not painting the edges during the construction process

....and a comparison between this blaster and Hawks Blaster

That looks great!

:Bravo::Bravo::Bravo:

And thank you very much for your input.

:Drinks:

I have uploaded the revision but there seems to be something wrong; the download button says the file is "0 bytes" big. I have PMed Zathros to fix it. :)

This is a test post to see if it duplicates itself, as my posts seem to be cloning themselves, and having the audacity to post themselves again, without me in the loop. :)

hey star buck, want to work with me on making a lost in space 1st season laser pistol for the 50th anniversary celebration? I have the parts broken down, just don't have the experience making guns.

Very nice build Starbuck, and a great design Revell-Fan. I've never tried painting a paper model but this one looks great.

I've found that going back to my beginnings, and painting, has allowed me to start being able to make compound curves, as the filler can be sanded smooth and paint covers the build technique, printing models with all the details have made many a flat looking 3 dimensional model.

Your gun came out great Starbuck. :)
