BRTC25 Land Rover BETA Test Build

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I present to you the BETA test build of the BRTC25 Land Rover designed by @Revell-Fan.
Here are the parts sheets. The parts look really good and the sheets are organized well. @Revell-Fan did a GREAT JOB on the paint scheme matching to the Thunder Fighter.


@Revell-Fan has added the parts to recess the window (like the cockpit for the Thunder Fighter)


I have assembled the body.


I recessed the head lamps and attached under front end.

This test build looks terrific! So many clean lines..!

Please remember to cut the formers to shape to make them fit since you have recessed the windows. I'll add a note (and maybe a cutting template) to the pattern.

Here are the internal formers. I laminated the formers to 1 mm. thick.


I inserted the former assembly.


Here is the undercarriage assembly.


Here is the track chassis.

(*NOTE* Before attaching the track chassis to the undercarriage, I should have attached the wheels and tracks first. )

Here is the lower "bumper".


The "bumper" is attached.


This is added detail that goes under the back door. I laminated it to 1 mm.


Adding additional parts on either side.

Actually, everything fits perfectly (so far). thumbsup I have not had a single fitting issue (knock on wood),

I worked on the roof components.
The kit (as a whole) is very intuitive. It is a very easy build.

The components are simple and go together nicely. This kit has a lot potential for greebling.

The turret is set in place on the Rover.

Looks realy good. Nice build, well executedthumbsup. This model must have something magical in itself, because I can not watch enough on it. Realy strange for me, because I do not like the original moovie Rover so much.

I attached the wheels.
(Here is a very strong suggestion: Before attaching the wheel carriage to bottom of the underside, you should attach the wheels and tacks.)


The tracks are assembled.


The tracks are wrapped around the wheels.


The build is now finished. I have sent all of the photos and notes to @Revell-Fan for review and consideration.

Great model. Don't know why, but for me the model looks better than the rover shown in the tv-show.
Especially nice is the look of the windows - the colouring makes them more realistic than coloured with only one colour.
