Wow, ten days since I posted on this thread! Sorry I've been busy. For those of you that have been following my Warlord thread I have not forgotten this project but I did need to update the Warlord thread as well.

I ran into a snag on the engines which stymied me until I found a solution and strangely enough it was in my medicine cabinet namely the exhaust cones. While innovative the thread cones never satisfied me as a viable material. This morning while brushing my teeth infrequent as tha may be I noticed that my Shoprite mouthwash had the precise requirements for a plastic exhaust cone. So now I have a lifetime supply of cheap mouthwash (if I forgo opportunities for osculation) and three ready made exhaust cones as well

Of course you realize that the above tale is a complete prevarication; I've had this idea in my pocket for six months or more.

Confession is good for the soul.

She sure is coming along. Looks like some light at the end of the tunnel now! The engines will look great, especially when you finish off the ends!. :)

Is there any other kind? A Martini that tastes like pine needles is a 'Shrubbery' at best.

Ni! Ni!

I haven't forgotten this model; I put it aside until my son returns from college.

He expressed an interest in working on it together.

Today I worked on the pelvic mechanism which needs a bit of revising. Even though it works just as I wanted the sphere halves need to be undercut to fit the 'Tee' fittings thereby retreating further into the pelvic block. Therefore I need to mount the 'Tees' further outboard so they will be visible and allow for a great range of motion.

that is what I thought, I was surprised to see twice similar posts on different thread and this definitely looked like a Titan post in the thunderhawk thread. Thank you for the confirmation

You're doing better than me, I missed that completely. Good job! Thanks! I would move that post but that would make these post seem odd. Both are excellent models. Good catch Terrinecold, you're on the ball! :thumb: :)
