Weapons platform emplacements on the top and bottom of the extra landing bays is exactly what I had recommended to the person that I am making this for. He wholeheartedly agreed with me. With that being said, I may make cannons for it. I have not decided yet.

I am not certain if it will make it canon to the series. However, after speaking to the person who requested the model, it will match (closer to) the diagram

Yes, it is based on the TOS BSG. I am using the template of the TOS BSG that @Gearz designed and then adding the modifications to make the SATURN.

Time for a small update.

Moving on to the main body.


Here are the parts for the main body!


Since the main body component is such a large (empty) box, I decided to make some internal formers (2 "spines" and 4 "ribs").


The formers are assembled.


The main body component is complete!

No, Since this BS has four sponsons, I will be putting the same (coffin like component and straight cross support) structure (which is the tram tube that runs between the two main sponsons) that is on the bottom, on the top.
