Battlestar Galactica Leg board/Data pad (Computron)

Proceeding with the number keys for the calculator.
All of the numbers keys are attacked.
Here are the parts for the pen holders. No, there are not four pen holders, there are only two.
However, there is an inside and an outside to them. The tube parts are layered offset so that the inside part can be used to hold the outside in place without the need for glue strips or tabs.
The tube is complete.
Here are both tubes.
The pen holders are in place.

Next will be the TYPE-II. I will be adding the build photos of it to this thread.

OK, as mentioned earlier, the TYPE-II is next. However, I am building it in the "DATA PAD" configuration (which means that it does not have the leg pad).
As you can see, the only real difference between the two types are the calculators that were used.
Here are all of the internal formers laminated to 1 mm thick.

Here is the backboard that will hold both pen holders.
On the back, I put black duct tape to finish the back and give some texture to it. It really did not turn out the way that I hoped. However, I am going to leave it the way it is a carry on.

That's so cool! I'm amazed at how good the texture of the light bar came out. It really looks like there were lights behind some frosted ribbed plexiglass. And the calculators really look real. WOW! I like what you did with them. I may add the additional parts for lamination.
BTW, you may have noticed the somewhat different look of the badges (PRE ASSY and FLIGHT COMPUTER). Reason for that: These were stickers which were put on the original to hide the SHARP logo and the calculator model number. Since 1978 those vintage calculators have become the most expensive parts of the prop. They may boost the price for an authentic replica up to 80 bucks (the original legboard can still be found for about 20 $).

The Pad you made is awesome. I have a sound machine that would be great to take apart, and use for the buttons and circuit board, includes fart noises!!
