I'm working on the legboard now. Since the first version was released literally tons of pictures of the real prop have surfaced which allow me to accurize the kit. The legboard will receive the biggest upgrades of all existing models so far. I guess it is not exaggerated to say it will be a completely new model. I'll salvage everything I can - which is the texture and the silver knob. Everything else will be new. This comparison shows the difference:

First version:

new version:

legboard2-3.jpg

It features a pen holder, a padding for the leg on the underside and a hole to insert a velcro strip. So this new version will actually be wearable! :)

I have begun reworking the Radiatron. The kit got a new layout and a skeleton which was sorely missed. The look of the finished piece did not change:

(old picture of the very first test build so that you know what I'm talking about ;) )

HOWEVER the dosimeter version from "War of the Gods" changed dramatically from this

to THIS:

It received LOTS of greeble parts, half tubes and lots of strips to wrap around. I was even able to accurize the number on the blue IC chip due to hi-res screenshots from the BluRay set. Not perfect but better than before. Once I'm fine with the dimensions the revision will be released. :)

The revision of the Radiatron is complete. It is much closer to the original prop than before. You may grab it from the Resources now! :)

The next update bundle was uploaded to the Resources: Both types of Solinite Charges received new parts, a new texture and a sturdy skeleton.

As of now I can't think of any other props that need an update, so I'll continue with a new one: The fire fighter set from Galactica. This is a necessity because it is an integral part of the Galactica launch bay that is in the works.

The scale of the set will be 1/6. Smaller versions will be added to the hangar bay kit and I think the axe will be made in 1/1 scale to go with the guns and the Cylon sword. Stay tuned! :)

The beta test build for the Fire Fighter (and intercom phone) set (in 1:6 scale).

Here are the parts sheets. There are a total of three sheets for the template.

The First Aid Kit box is complete.
20210420_013139.jpg

Here are the parts for the Fire Extinguisher.
20210420_013543.jpg

I started with the top of the extinguisher. ( The handle and gauge will be attached last).
20210420_160610.jpg

Starting with the stem under the handle, and working my way down will make the assembly go smoother.
Not only that, but make certain that all of the seams line up properly.

The cone is attached to the main body of the extinguisher.
20210420_163505.jpg

Here is the handle assembly. There is a label (that designates the location)
20210420_163614.jpg
The label is attached.
20210420_163802.jpg

Here is the pressure gauge.

Here is the mounting plate with the brackets.
20210420_170027.jpg

The mounting plate is complete. Yes, you need to attach the axe mounting plate.
20210421_201158.jpg

All of the components are in place. Now, you can either just put the components on in their respective places or you can glue them in place.
20210421_201301.jpg

I made a stand for the kit to have it on my shelf.

Once Revell-Fan finishes the revisions and instructions, it will be uploaded to the resource section for all to enjoy!
