Hi Everyone:
It's been awhile since I have said anything. I have an older Atlas RS3 locomotive. When I just add a little bit of power it 'flies' around the layout. Just to check to see if it was the throttle controls, I replaced it with another. It did the same thing. This tells me the gearing is off. Does anyone can tell me where I can get the gearing to slow the locomotive down? I know a large gear that is connected to the motor and the other gear is small. The loco will run fast. I wonder if reversing them would slow it down?
