At last Orion by UHU02

With the release of this model UHU02 will have five of the seven 2001 ASO vehicles. Only the nuclear weapons platform at the beginning of the TMA-1 sequence and the monolith are left.
 
I would not have thought of the monolith as a vehicle, but I guess it actually was! The monolith itself would not be too much of a model. Maybe it could be part of a diorama of the excavation site on the moon . . .

but Gojira remains

BTW, I just noticed that Pepakura produces these dreadful red lines on UHU02's parts as well. I often get them on my unfolds, too, and it requires a lot of work to get rid of them.
 
The outside of this thing is a little ordinary, if it is aerodynamic... I was thrilled to see that he is actually doing the interior, as well. I am never disappointed... :)
 
I just watched 2001, the movie just does not date. Seeing the Orion heading for the space station just kept me thinking how well this will be. What a collection of model designs! :)
 
WOW I just discovered this the park is terrific but the model in outa-this-world!
I just can't wait to see more.
