My web site is hosted by NBCI. They allow 100mg of storage space free which is very generous. The only problem is you can do a direct link to a picture there from the Gauge like you can with Zing or Photopoint. Places like NBCI and others will not allow it.
You can have an indirect link which works OK but the picture doesn't show up until you click on the link

www.geocities.com
It is no longer a free site, but PhotoPoint is still the best one for me. I don't do auctions, but there are web sites and individuals with interests other than railroading who link to my pictures.

I did check out several other sites and found everyone to fall short of meeting my needs. Many were too slow or too difficult to navigate.

Matthyro,

I got around that prob by using geocities. Geocities is fine to be "linked to" particular pages or sets of pages of your website. I have all my webmovies on geocities and just have a "heading page" at geocities that lists the movies, then a "return" to my homepage. I just have a "click here for webmovies" and the link is to geocities. Makes it quite transparent really. Just keep your "mainline" of your webpage at trainorders, and the "bulk/sections" at geocities. e.g. your "menu" pages "me, layout details, pics" etc is on your webserver, each section in on geocities, with a "link" back to your homepage on the other server.

TOOT!
