after many years of it sitting in the box started but never finished, I'm finally back at this one. I won't be using the kit supplied figures so I am adding details to the cockpit. I've used stretched sprue to make control columns and I'm making paper harnesses for it now. I'll up load pics as soon as the forum is finished :-)

okay, new forum up and running so pic time :D

Final pictures taken in good light. not a bad build but looks tons better than the one I built back in the 80's20140202_142347.jpg20140202_142418.jpg20140202_142444.jpg20140202_142527.jpg20140202_142550.jpg

Beautiful job. I had one of these years ago myself. Nice to see that a few of these kits still exist.

i also remember the fibre optic Star Destroyer that came out in the late 90's. Been trying to track down another one for years.

I like what you worked there, sir. The photos with snow on background reminds me of Hoth battle - my favourite scene of all SW films.

I like very the used look at the exhaust. I often thried but never get such a nice result. This make feel this speeder was flying over hoth. :)

I like the weathering of the model. My models always are brand new (except I have problems with decals or with painting ;) - then they are weathered too).
Your model looks as coming directly from the battle of Hoth. Very nice.
