After glueing roadbed... Nail it?

Easy question, after I glue down my roadbed with laytex stuff, do I nail it down? or is it fine?

It should be fine. An hour or so and it is really stuck. I put down track the same way, but tack it to hold for an hour or so. Makes it real easy to get straight. IT stays soft enough to slide around while you tack or pin it in place.

I weight the roadbed and leave it for 2-3 hours (I used a stack of about 15 CD's!)

That should do it. Times must have changed, I used to use encyclopidias to weigh things down.
