A Proud Scene

This scene was photographed last week while my wife and I were vacationing in Western North Carolina. The location is Chimny Rock.

Proud indeed! Don't think it has anything to do with the war though as everytime I've been by there the flag is flying. Sure makes for a pretty sight!

I agree. That flag was not put there for any other reason than to inspire us, at any time, in my opinion. We should not need a war to be patriotic.

Wow! Great angle. The day we were there the trail to the spot from which your picture was taken was closed due to ice.
