Belated Happy New Year, everybody!
A new year, a better me......
When I have been able, I have done a little modelling; (during the time I have been absent from here! (Sorry!))
I attempted to reduce my stash of unfinished models, that I had been working on in the background now and again.
UHU's Orion was one such project....
I pretty much built the model 'out-of-the-box'. I excluded doing the interior, as to see into the model, you would need to touch it!
The only modification to the model I made was to provide a means of fitting a metal rod, used to attach it to a black display base. The metal rod I used fitted nice and snug into a ink pen tube. I strengthened the wing/fuselage section with thick card, to support the stresses, and hot-glued it all in place....
(The coloured interior is the backside of old pre-printed card stock that I used)
The beauty-shot photos of the end result.... (No PhotoShop, or such, used .... )
