When I drew these parts before I flattened out some of the rounded edges so I didn't have to make the corners but is there anyone out there who can tell me how to achieve this effect???

I actually did try recovery and got back a few files sadly they were ones I still had that weren't corrupt. And yes Skoda this project is going to be completed, I just look at it this way it gives me an excuse to do some things over that I wasn't to pleased with plus now I'm working with the...

Okay life officially sucks, before my hospital stay I transferred these files and some others to a back up HD and now I found that some of the files for this model were corrupted during the transfer and sadly I had deleted the original files from my main HD to free up some space, I guess that's...

Hello fellow modelers just an update on this project. It's still in the works but I was in the hospital for like 5 months, I had blood clots in both lungs and while they were dealing with that some other issues showed up. I had my surface tablet with me and could have worked on it but...

Hey I'm open to suggestions, making the arm rotate up and down at the shoulder is easy, the problem is keeping it in place. I think I figured this system gives at least 8 positions back and forth, I still have to work on the arms so I'm sure about how they will move yet.

I'm not totally finished with the arms, but what I did at the shoulder area on the body was to make a series of holes in the former and on the shoulder area of the arm is a series of pegs, the arm is slid out on it's axle, rotated into position and then slid back in lining up the pegs with the...

You know guys and gals I'm assuming there are some ladies out there, I noticed I seem to take on the projects were others have tried and failed or gave up. I was working on Halliwell manor for over a year and it's about 90% done not that I've given up I will go back to it but like this model the...

I decided to make the tool box and laser interchangeable. I had looked at trying to do the extra coverings to make him look original, still might try but one has a lot of rounded areas to reproduce, I'm also trying to find a scale handkerchief, for that I plan to look at doll supply websites or...

I figured out what was happening, for some reason the open file box is not showing on top of my browser I had to minimize the browser to find it looks like Firefox is hiccuping again.

Still plugin away here are more previews, of course this is just a small sampling. Right now I'm working on the neck, shoulders, & upper torso, I'm trying to decide whether or not to go with the tool box or the laser or just try to make it an interchangeable option.

    A handy folding tool

I'm sure there are those out there who are acquainted with ParaGrafix, well they have a tool for folding photoetch that I think would also be handy for folding those small paper parts more accurately. I'm ordering one for folding some photoetch but I'm going to be trying it for paper also...

Since there are no real blueprints I'm going by info from the FB group so I estimate the scale around 1/3 to 1/2, the head is about 6 1/2" wide.

Thanks for the flowers as we used to say in my old CB radio days, I have a felling this is going to be like the Optimis Prime that was posted on Paper Replika a while back in page count, there are 23 pages for the head alone but that's done except for rearranging the parts and renumbering the...

Sorry for the delay on the update, couple stays in the hospital kinda held me up but I'm back to semi abnormal. Anyway here's a preview of some of the parts, drawing all the little details in the head like the electronic parts has been pretty tedious and since I saw that some of the same parts...

I actually went back and checked some measurements against some recent info I found and find the scale is a little less then 1/2 scale, it's kinda hard to tell because a lot of measurements aren't available. The one dumb thing I did and don't ask me why is I drew the layout with Illustrator...

The little restaurant that could and will again

Ya Zathros it will be rebuilt and as you say it will look different inside and out but the food should remain about the same with a few changes, hopefully the prices won't change to much as we have a lot of older customers that count on us because as Rhaven Blaack said you fill your belly...

The little restaurant that could and will again

Those of you who live in or ever traveled through Dover,DE may know this place, it's some times known as the Family Restaurant, it's been in operation since 1948 and I worked there as a baker/cook for several years until it was destroyed by fire in Feb. of this year. Anyway I designed and built...
