Wow, I see alot has changed on "The Gauge". It looks like I'll have to nose around to get to know the new digs. A year ago I took down my layout and now I can get back to buidling. Does anyone know of any model train shows in Minnesota ( Twin Cities ) area?

UP Passenger train I'm currently doing a UP passener trian. I have all the passenger cars, I'm going to paint some New York Central A & B units bodies I picked up at a show. I just need to find some time to get things rollin. I wish I wasn't so dang busy.wall1

I agree. I clean it w/ soapy water then spray that out. Then w/ cleaner sprayed that out, then I wasn't sure if it was clean, so I took it apart and cleaned itwall1. They should make clear airbrushes so you can see threw it to see if it's clean. They are slick though.:thumb:

What ratio is use to thin the paint and do you use an airbrush spray box to vent the paint and fumes.

Hey Gil, I would check to see if the switch is laying flat, if any dirt or something is under the track causing it to pop out, and maybe some thing is loose. Are these snap switchs?
