    Who DIDN'T make a hustler?

John English and HObbyline didn't make a Hustler. Well, a Lionel hustler first came out in 1958 that was a year that Lionel was being supplied with some Locos and cars from Athearn. This is the first year they had the Hustler. #0560 was a D&RG black diesel with a yellow cab side. It had a...

The old 32 to 40 foot wood reefer

Another car I found at the same flea market is this New York Central, Merchant Dispash reefer. It again is a metal car from the 50-60 periods made by Varney. This car is how I found it. I haven't cleaned it up yet. This car shows its age and tells of time spent out in the open on a shelf or on...

The old 32 to 40 foot wood reefer

I have a few more reefers to post. They are Accurail reefers and can in no way be considered Vintage. They are old in type but not age. I was told they were undecorated and finished by a now no longer among us very good person. A person I have not met but was told about, and a pleasant tale it...

I am still looking for the HObbyline tank car "CONOCO" with no results. So I took some HObbyline undecorated kit tank cars and made my own till I can find an original one. I don't know the correct color so I made a few different ones. The silver one I have yet to complete. It still needs ladders...

One is the 2-8-0 consolidation. the other the 2-8-4 Berkshire. Both had a newer type of tender as you will see. Both...
