    So here's how I reinforce the saucers; First I glue strips along the gluing edges; I find the outer ring which is flat, and the innermost part (usually flat but not on the D) and cut out a ring from some card I cut it a bit smaller to allow for the angled rim pieces, and ther we go :)

    Before you can attach the saucer, you need to do one of two things, and this depends how you built the saucer. The part circled sits inside the saucer, so you either cut into your saucer or cut it off. Since I reinforced the "floor" of my saucer with pretty thick cardboard I opted for the...
