    Has anyone done the NWSL upgrade to the Keystone dummy shay ? How hard is it ? If someone has a scan of the NWSL intruction sheet it would be appreciated. Also i am a little confussed about what you get in the NWSL upgrade , i presume its a motor but do you get all the gearing as well...

    Dang Bachmann Chinese #@%&^#$!!

    I had a bachman jupiter for a while , it ran OK at full speed and with no points in the run, but thats not how i want to run trains. I now have a IHC Old time amercian , these are a great improvement over the Jupiter , with pickup off the loco wheels as well as the tender , they still stall...

    Help w/Floquil Paint

    I have never had that problem and i have been using Floquil paints for over a year.However i do thin them with Diosol by about 25% , maybe try some more thinner and do multiple coats. Cheers Ian

    So I have gotten my start with DCC, and fried my first decoder.

    Train Control System (TCS) decoders also have a 1 year goof proof replacement waranty , i know for certain as i have tested this out :( The replaced it with no questions asked , even though i thought it was mine own fault that it blew. cheers Ian

    Rivarossi Heisler

    Is this the old or new Rivarossi Heisler ? I thought the new one was DDC ready? as for the old i kinda was wondering that myself. Maybe a n scale decoder if it dosn't draw much current. BTW must have missed the previous photo shoot , but i love this one :D Ian

    Class "A" Shay

    Very Nice Paul , On3 allows you to see a lot of details that you may miss in HO , i was delighted to be able to see the bolts on your early shay and see the soot on the face of the driver. Keep the photos coming when you can , they inspire us :D Cheers Ian

    Program Soundtraxx DSD's using Lenz compact

    Recently installed a soundtraxx plug and play sound decoder in my bachman 3 truck shay , however i can't seem to access any cv value past cv8. I am using the Lenz compact unit , i can program all cv's on my Lenz and TCS decoders but not soundtraxx. Anybody eperienced similar. Cheers Ian

    Bachmann next year

    I got one of the original Mantua 2-6-6-2 Loggers , they are beautiful looking locos . cost quite a bit on ebay and it came damaged , but well worth it. When i saw that Model Power where retooling them and the retail price my jaw hit the ground , at that price i may just need another one:D...
