Sounds interesting but getting into downtown Toronto seems to take far too much time these days even though it is only about 60kms and with the price of gas these days, I don't stray too far. Gas here today is over a dollar for a measly litre. Much more than you folks in the US are paying...

My N gauge 20 inch radius Helix is getting close to being done. I never realized just how lond a process this is and the amount of repetitive work gets to be somewhat boring. One loop to go so hope it gets completed this weekend.

That's neat Andy as you will have a great time helping build that layout. Sounds like a wonderful place to spend some time.

Thanks for those photos Andrew. Brings back memories of my lunch time wanderings when I was working downtown. At least there are those interested in restoring that wonderful depot Tileguy. Many places would have torn it down after the fire.

Wow, now that was a train wreck for you. At least I am not the only one. Years ago I learned that it is good to have a deep piled carpet on the floor and that has saved me some damageover the years. Your wreck must have been spectacular KCS.
