    Curtis Steel

Some of you will remember my old steel mill. I have decided to rebuild and expand it. First off a new coal dumping shed for the Anderson coke plant which is going through some changes. You will see I am using my favourite building material. Next step will be interior painting then the roof.

Maybe some could help me out on this....

Conrail, you can make the roof however you wish. Shingles sound fine to me but a corrugated steel roof will be fine too.

    My Birthday

While I have never been to Grundy, we used to take our sailboat to Kilarney a bit further north and spend a week or so sailing in the North Channel of Georgian Bay. The scenery was very much the same. A great spot to celebrate a birthday Val.

Yup it is sad to hear and see about the demise of so many railroads. I am very fortunate to have a CN mainline through town and a CP main not too far away. You are lucky to be living where you are Roger.

    Doors for Benchwork?

Many starter layouts have been built on doors like these. No reason not to use them. Glue a layer of foam on it then lay track. Not easy to fit legs though.
