Glued the walls to foam board 3mm thick, gave rigidity and presume is about rigth the wall thickness. The yellow tape is holding the mask to airbrush the wall with green.

Although very realistic rendering I couldn't resist to laminate some details to enhance the volumes. I intend to use this model in a micro layout in On18 / 15" gauge (O scale in 9mm rail).

Three years after I concluded this project. the trebuchet was finished, but I wanted to build a figure of a sentry to give a sense of scale.

The finished vignette.

The base is a cheap build of my own. A circle of insulation foam lined with grey cardoard coated iwth PVA glue and painted with a spray can. The ground was built with modeling clay Das Pronto and the water with still water form Woodland Scenics.

The vignette depicts the last scenes of the film, when Princess Nausicca rescues a baby Ohm, a giant animal. The bug - Ohm - has been airbrushed. First pre-shaded and after a basic green colour, dry brushed . The paints I used are from the Vallejo range.
