Plans Shamus, Plan 2 and 5.....I'm looking for something with a double track main and "fiddle yard (s)" in HO. Also my space has grown somewhat again (much whining was needed to accomplish this!). So I now have an 11' to 14' or so x12' space with an extension of and other 10.5' on the 11' wall...

Shamus, I visited your website today.....BEAUTIFUL layout!!! While there I stopped by the page with track plans on it..... Is there any chance I can get anymore detailed information on your HO scale track plans? It seems that I am going to be placing my existing layout in a new space just about...

Marty, 13 of mine were fine for 3 months, now I have 4 failures in continuity. The failures show up with use.....:mad: They wait to you have them installed and balasted, etc. before they fail.....

Ceheck the posts on Atlas's message board about the conducting issues with Atlas code 83s.....I have 2 "dead" ones.... oithers are having lots of issues with them too....

That's correct, it was John Allen's timesaver and the sidings where a specific length....Oh, and my next project is to recreate the timesaver too, but in N so I can play the portable version on the coffee table while I'm watching the new baby that's on the way... :D :rolleyes: ;)

Bob, If your happy with the 4x8' the answer seems simple to me.....Why start all over if your already pleased with it?

Harry Potter I'd like to know more about your new endevour. My Son is 9 and into HP I had already planned on getting him the train to run on my layout, YOUR idea intruges me very much. What kind of ideas do you have for a track plan, scenery, etc???? Martin

Couplers Kadee is the word I've always been given, although I find that the McHenerys are easier to change out when upgrading older rolling stock and I have had just as much luck with them as I have with the Kadees..... :cool:
